How do I get the crank nut off my DT175E? I've put it in 6th, jammed the rear brake on, had a rattle gun on it and it wont budge! I've checked and re-checked the tab washer, its not bent up.  Bloody thing wont move!

Don't know much about the DT but is it possibly a left hand thread?
Do some research before you force it.
A rattle gun should do it easy.

Cheesy I was thinking the same thing GMC that it maybe a left hand thread. Also you could try to rub some ice on it the give it a light tap with a small hammer and see if that works i was told to do this on stuck bolt once and tryed it and it did work you can only try Wink Cool

Gbman i think they are talking about two different types of nut's. And i dont think you need to be telling everyone that you rub ice on your nuts to get it off Shocked
